| HOW TO EARN BIG MONEY FROM AFFILIATES Affiliates can make you lots of money if you have the right vehicle for the advert. It is extremely cost effective and works very well with a well visited site or a loyal user group. I offer an example, some of the affiliates listed on this site pay very well, some even pay out 50% commission per purchase. Unlike the PPC advertisments that many sites carry, affiliates tend to pay better and respond better to their loyal affiliates. So you have a site/blog that discusses health issues, for example weight loss or quiting smoking, if you have a 1000 user ratio to your site/blog and there was a 1% daily that purchased a product at £20 you would make £10 a day from just one affiliate program. If you had a site/blog with a reasonable assortment of affiliates this adds up. BUT SOME SITES FIND IT DIFFICULT TO EARN FROM AFFILIATES! WHY?The trick to all this is to balance out the appearance of the site with the revenue. I am sure you have been on sites/blogs that are far too cluttered with adverts etc. You must work out which pays the best, work out the position of the advert and make sure it is attractive to the user. After all they are the ones that will press and purchase. Secondly, make sure you have a niche. If you have traffic zooming to your site then excellent, but if you haven't then placing affiliates on your site will not convert to money. If you have a site with a low traffic you will have to work at bringing in the users that can be converted. As previously mentioned if you have a health site, only stick with health affiliates. Diverification can be a problem with sites. Identifying and sticking to your own individual niche will enable you to focus all your efforts into specialist forums, SEO and traffic driving software. |

But can you earn a living from it? This is the question that many ask. In summary, YES you can make a very good living from affiliates, but only if you are able to tap into your traffic, niche market and be patient. To begin with I shall overview the usual advice for affiliate marketers. 1) You must identify your market and have a plan. If you have affiliate programs on your website that are of no interest to your users then, you have no market. It’s like selling meat to a veggie. However, if you make you affiliate program part of your website experience then obviously your user is going to look if not buy. 2) It is always advisable to add some sort of review, what do you think of the product that your affiliates are selling? Are they any good? How long is delivery? What are their customer services like? It not only builds up confidence in your affiliate program but it also establishes your credibility as a webmaster who is running a tight ship. Ie you are not just dumping loads of affiliates on your site to make money at your user’s expense. Your user acknowledges that you are making money, but they most certainly do not want to be scammed so you can pay the hosting. |
